Hello, everyone. Today, I want to talk to you
about a familiar topic - it's plastic waste. How
many plastic bags do you use ina single week? And
what happens to them after you throw them away?

This is a graph which I found on a website. It shows
the amount of plastic packaging waste per person.
The U.S. ranks first. Japan ranks second.
Plastic is durable, so it does not break down
quickly. Plastic waste harms the environment, and
every year there is more and more of it.
