It has been 10 years since you passed away. Our now _1__ son Peter and I still think of you
all the time, especially at Christmas. _2_presents without you is always difficult for us, but joyful
at the same time. Do you remember how you used to celebrate Christmas, _3_ us to donate
money to a charity instead of buying you gifts? Well, we've _4_! We tried it the first year after
you left us, and we enjoyed it so much that we have _5_ it a family Christmas tradition. Usually
we put up the tree a few weeks before Christmas. Later, we each_6_cards in the branches, with
the names of charities written on them. _7_ Christmas approaches, we donate money to all the
charities whose names are written on the cards. _8_ Christmas morning we tell each other how
much we donated, and talk about how this will help others. Then we share stories about you, and
memories of you, _9_ each other. This year Peter will be inviting his new girlfriend Marissa
join us. Sadly you cannot meet her._10_, I can assure you that she will hear all about you!
