また2つの英文の解説ではthatを使っているのですが何を伝えるために解説をしているのか分かりません。理解力がなくて申し訳ないのですが解説の解説をお願いします🙇‍♀️

以下のように考えるのは、どうでしょうか？
38 ① They(S) believe(V) <that(接続詞) he made a fortune in his youth>(O). [第3文型]
→ 受動態：<That he made a fortune in his youth>(S) is believed(V) (by them).[省略]
主語が長いので、形式主語 It に置き換える → It is believed <that made a fortune in his youth>(真主語).
② He [is believed](受動態) <that he made a fortune in his youth>.
→ 能動態：They(S) believe(V) him(O) <that he made a fortune in his youth>(O/C?).
[注] believe は第4文型(SVOO)は作らない ／第5文型：We believe him (to be) honest.は可能
→ もし仮に第5文型であれば、him(O)＝that he made a fortune in his youth(C) のならなければいけないが、一人の人間(him)＝彼が若い時に財産を築いたという事実(that he made … his youth)にはならない。なぜなら、人間≠事実だから。
従って、②の英文は、構文と文法の観点と意味を考えても成立しない。

文型を変えても似たような意味の文章が作れると分かりました！またそもそもbelieveが第4文型は作れないこと、第5文型だとしたらO=Cが成り立たないということも理解できました！！この解説そのまま問題集にのせたいくらいです！！！分かりやすく丁寧な解説ありがとうございます🙇‍♀️
