合っていると思います!「Mr.Doiがimportant thingを知った」という内容なので、大丈夫なのではないでしょうか。
ただ、knewと過去形で書いているところは原型のままでいいかなと思いました。Mr.Doiはその事を今も知っているので、過去形にする必要はないです。解答のfoundが原型になっているので見てみてください。それと同じ仕組みです。
説明分かりづらくてすみません💦私が間違っているかもしれないので、一応学校の先生や友達に聞いてみてください。。!

すみません!一つ質問なのですが、foundってfindの過去形では無いのですか?原形なのですか?

あ、すみません!普通に間違えてしまいました...
foundは「探す」の過去形なので「探した」ですね。(今はMr.Doiは探していないので、foundでした。過去形です!)ごめんなさい。
