5年近く英語を勉強しているのに、 いまだに自分の英語力に自信が持てない。

(1) Even though I have studied English for five years, → (Even) Though I have studied English for almost five years,
I can't think that my English skill is good. → I am still not sure that my English skill is good enough
※sure that＋S＋V～　Sが～すると確信している
意味：約5年間英語を勉強してきたけれども、私の英語を使う技術は十分に良いとは未だ確信していない。
(2) I couldn't answer immediately when a [strenger] asked me the way to [the] destination yesterday.
→ I couldn't answer immediately when a [stranger] asked me the way to [a certain] destination yesterday.
※the destination その特定の目的地／a certain destination ある一つの目的地

(3) I thought(過去) that I may(助動詞・現在) [had ever studied](過去完了) English in wrong way.
→ I [wondered](過去) if I [might(助動詞・過去) have studied(動詞・完了形)](仮定法過去完了) English in [a] wrong way.
