つまり、以下の二つの[ ]を比べて、どちらも否定する表現です。
24. [Going to a famoous university doesn't make you a professor] any more than [going to a garage makes you a car].
文の意味：[有名大学に行っても教授にはなれない]のは、[車庫に行っても車になれない]のと同様である。
