(1)なぜshouldになりますか？どちらも入ってもおかしくなさそうです。助動詞の確信度の違いではwould＞shouldだったのでwouldを入れましたが間違えていました。

shouldとwouldは単なる確信度の違いではなくて、shouldの場合は「そうあるべきことが、なされていない」という状況に対して使います。
今回の場合wouldを入れると、「彼がもうすぐここに来る」ということに何の疑いも心配も持たずに「来るよ」とただ言っているだけになります。
