まず、the nomber of は、「〜の数」という意味なので、
使うならa nomber of 「たくさんの〜」です。

また僕の語彙不足かもしれませんが、「増えつつある」や「より多くの」などは「more and more」が多いと思います。

なので、More and more foreign people enjoy eating japanese food because it is delicious and healthy.

とかで良いのでは。
あと、is taste goodはダメです。
isは要らないです。tasteだけで「〜な味がする」って意味なので。
