通勤に自転車を使う人が増えた。子供から高齢者まで手軽に乗れて、体に良いし、地球にも優しいからだろう。

More and more people are using the bicycle to commute. This is probably because anyone can ride it easy, and it is good for your helth to ride it, and it is enviromentally friendly.

The people who uses the bicycle to commute have increased. This means that anyone can ride it easily and it’s good for their health. Furthermore it is good for environment.

自転車を使う人が増えた。という文は今も増えているというニュアンスが含まれてるので、現在完了形にしました。
自転車を使うというのは、健康にも環境にも良いという意味だと思うので、This means 〜にしました。

子供から大人までという言葉を入れたければ、anyone that is from a children to an adult. にすると良いと思います。

複数のポイントを挙げる場合、コンマの後は[and]を使わなくてもいいです。最後のポイントのコンマの後だけに[and]を付ければいいと思います。一つ目のポイントに[ride it]を入れているので、二つ目のポイントでは省略してもいいと思います。
