とかきたかったのであれば
students canとしたほうがよいです
他の文でも、生徒が何かできるようになる、と言いたい時はcanをいれるとそのニュアンスがハッキリとなり、メリットと言ってるというニュアンスが強くなります。

同様にstudents can getとし、ここでは特定の能力の話をしているのでthe ability とした方が良いです
Speechは名詞なのでspeakにしなければいけませんし自動詞なのでここでは使えません。他動詞のexpressにしてください。express one’s opinionはよく使う言い回しです。

または

としてください。個人的には普通は先生はクラスに1人なので単数形にします。
