大門2の(1)(2)教えてください ！
関係代名詞と関係副詞の違いがいまいちわからなくて...💦
お願いします🙇

関係代名詞から関係副詞への変遷を書いてみます…。

(1) That is the house. We used to live in it.
↓the house = it → which
That is the house which we used to live in.
↓inが残っているので、which。inはwhichの前に
持っていけるので…。
That is the house in which we used to live.
↓in which = where(場所を表しているため)
That is the house where we used to live.

(2) (少々無理矢理ですが…。)
Do you remember the days? You were young in those days.
↓the days = those days → which
(?)Do you remember the days which you were young in?
↓inが残っているので、which。inはwhichの前に
持っていけるので…。
Do you remember the days in which you were young?
↓in which = when(時を表しているため)
Do you remember the days when you were young?

となります。
(2)の(?)の付いた英文は英語として微妙な表現だと思うので、(?)を付けました。

・関係副詞(where, when)は、基本「前置詞(in, on, atなど)+which」と覚えておきましょう。そして、「場所ならwhere」「時ならwhen」に置き換えられます。

問題の数をこなして、慣れていきましょう。
