仮定法は日常会話ではあまり使われません。
The subjunctive mood [仮定法] isn't used much in casual speech. It is not wrong to use it, but it makes the sentence sound formal and a little bit stiff [硬い].
もし駅で彼に会ったら, この本を渡してください。
