I thought you who practiced hard to become a biwa musician are very wonderful.

This is a very interesting sentence. It is grammatically correct but it sounds a bit like translated Japanese.

私は琵琶奏者になるために一生懸命練習したあなたはとても素晴らしいと思いました。

1. In Japanese you say "思いました", but when you say "I thought" in English, it suggest you no longer believe this now, so it is better to say "I think".

2. You <who........................> are wonderful.
You put a lot of words between "you" and "are wonderful". This is not wrong, but it makes the sentence a bit difficult to understand for the listener, and the sentence feels unbalanced. In Japanese you don't have this problem because あなた comes at the end, and stays close to とても素晴らしい.

3. "very" is better not used with adjectives that already imply a high degree of something.
❌ very excellent
❌ very perfect
❌ very terrible
△ very wonderful
✅ totally wonderful, completely wonderful, ...

So a more natural sentence would be:

I think you are totally wonderful for practicing very hard to become a biwa musician.
I think you are totally wonderful because you practiced very hard to become a biwa musician.
