下線部のfor以下の役なのですが、私の答えでは「見ることの喜びや興奮、また新しいことの経験のために」と訳したのですが、模範解答は「新しいものを見たり経験したりする喜びと興奮を求めて」でした。なぜandの前と後で分けないと言いきれるのですか？

seeingという動名詞の形になっていますが、もともとのseeが他動詞で目的語をとるというルールはseeingになっても残ってます。
