この関係代名詞の文で前置詞の問題なんですけど前置詞が関係代名詞の前に来る場合と文の後ろに来る場合では何が違うのでしょうか？
また途中に来てるやつの前置詞は後ろにおいても大丈夫なんですか？教えて欲しいです。

(1)状況 何の仕事に興味があるかたずねられた。
Engineering is (I'm / that /in/ interested / the job).
Engineeting is the job that I'n interested in

関係代名詞のthatについては前に前置詞を置くことができません。
whichの場合はどちらでも良い（前置詞を後ろにも置ける）ので、関係代名詞以降の文章を見て判断します。先行詞のthe houseを入れられる場所がなければ前置詞プラス関係代名詞か関係副詞ですね。
今回は入れる場所がないし、空所2箇所なのでin whichですね。
