まず aとanの違いについて解説します。
a(an)をつける時はただものがひとつということを指す時につけます。
theは日本語にすると「その」のような指示語の役割をします。
次にa boyになる理由なのですが、aをanにする時は単語の最初の文字が「a,e,i,o,u」の母音になる時のみです したがってa boyとなります！
