No, I don't think so.
I have two reasons for it.
First, information of newspaper isn't newer than TV and
Second, When buy newspapers, I have to spend of money.

my father bought a newspaper, I found it is
expencive...
That is why I don't think student should read a newspaper
more often.

5行目「I found it is expensive」ですが、「is」が要らないです。
find O C : OがCだとわかる

expensiveも「c」ではなく「s」ですね。
おそらくこの解答は8割ほどは取れると思います。
