英語の英作文の問題なんですけど、雨があれほどつよく降っていなかったら、野球の試合は行われていたかもしれない。という文にしたいけど、、、なんでこうなるのか分からないです。

教えて下さい。至急です。

the game might have taken place.

私は「もし~がなかったら」の形である
if it had not been for a for alll
答えにないのがふしぎです。

If it had not been for A「〜がなかったら」という構文においてforを使わないことはありません。

【if it had not been for A】
例）If it had not been for your advice, I couldn't have passed the exam.
もしあなたのアドバイスがなかったら，私はその試験に合格できなかったでしょう。

【if it had not been〜】
If it had not been your advice, I wouldn't have followed it.
もしそれがあなたのアドバイスでなかったら，私は従ってなどいなかったでしょう。

If it had not been Aという英文があるとすれば、「もしそれがAでなかったら」という単なるSVCです。

〜がなければor〜でなければ
ただそれだけの違いです。
