なぜここで現在完了形が使われるのでしょうか

時・条件を表す副詞節だからです。
時・条件を表す副詞節では、
未来の事は現在形で
未来完了のことは現在完了にする
というルールがあるのでそのようになります。

If it will rain tomorrow…というが誤りで
If it rains tomorrow…が正解になるのと同じことです。

後これは文章を理解すればわかることですが、
「そのDVDを見終わったら」というのは未来のある時点に話をしてるので、過去の話はしていないので過去形になることは絶対にありません。
