I do not think it is a good idea for local governments to build tourists sites, such as theme parks and museums.
First, quite construction costs will be needed to build tourists sites. If few tourists gather at the local, the local can be poor. Local governments should consider ecpectancy when they start something new.
Second, to build tourists sites give the environment something bad. For example, big sound will be inevitabily when tourists sites are built. Local people may not sleep enough time, so to build them can lead to affect health of local people. Also, emission of gass is considered when they are built. To build them can damage the local.
Therefore, I do not think it is a good idea for local governments to build tourists sites, such as theme parks and museums.
