英文が変でないか見て欲しいですm(*_ _)m

One of selective breeding is pigs.its perpose is improve growth rates and improve meat quality.
However, it has many disadvantages.
For example, the death rate of piglets and the stress increase of mother pigs are cited.
Pigs are not our food.
I think we shouldn't make any more selective breeding.

文法的に間違ってるか間違ってないかを見て欲しいです🙏

improveを2つ書くなら他の単語に変えるか、andで直接rates とqualityを繋いだ方がいいです。
豚は食べ物ではない は言いたいことは分かりますが
じゃあ豚を食べないのかといえばこの英文はそういう主張でもなさそうなので、例えばAll animals including pigs have animal rightsとかなら意味は通じます。
文法的にはそれぐらいです。
英文でいえば、少し固い気がします。
時と場合によりますがもう少し簡単に、そして具体的に書いた方がいいかなと個人的には思いました。

不利益の具体例として子豚の死亡率や母豚のストレス増加を挙げているのは良いんですけど、もう少しそこを具体的に深堀してもいいかもしれません。

Howeverのところでdisadvantagesを書いてあるのでその前の文は利点について書いてあるはずですよね。これでも全然いいんですけど、譲歩の表現を入れたりしてみてもいいかもしれないです。
