TOAさん、第4文型を作る主な動詞に2種類：give型(to)とbuy型(for)あるのを聞いたことがあると思いますが、如何でしょうか？
【例文】
Ms. Jones(S) gave(V) the students(IO) a medal(DO).＜第4文型＞
→ 受動態：A medal was [given] [to] the students by Ms. Jones.　※give型動詞：lend(貸す)/send(送る)/show(見せる)等
Ms. Jones(S) <bought>(V) the students(IO) some books(DO).＜第4文型＞
→ 受動態：Some books were <bought> <for> the students by Ms. Jones.　※buy型動詞：choose(選ぶ)/make(作る)/cook(料理する)等
