アメリカに住んでいるものです。学校でNJHSというボランティアの組織?のようなものがあって一応成績と態度が良くないと入れないんですが、それの第1次選考受かったので第2次選考の質問に答えるんですが出来ればこの答えはいいのか,またはなんと答えればいいのか教えて頂けると幸いです。文法間違いの指摘は大丈夫です。よろしくお願いします。
どちらかひとつだけでもいいのでよろしくお願いします。

1: List activities in which you are involved at /outside of school
・tennis lesson
・music lesson
と答えたのですがここでいうactivityは習い事を書くのでいいのでしょうか？

2:Write a paragraph stating how you feel you would be an asset to the NJHS through service to the school and the community.
・I think I would be an asset to the NJHS through service to the school and the community because I have a strong desire to help others through the NJHS, and I want as many people as possible to be happy because of my activity. Also, I don’t like to give up and I like to communicate with people, which I think might be helpful for the NJHS activities. In addition, I like to help others because it makes me feel rewarded and happy.
と書いたのですが質問に対してちゃんとそれにそった答えが書けていますか?

1.は習い事というより学校、あるいは学校外で参加しているactivityのことだと思います。

2.は一番最初にNJHSに貢献できることに対するあなたの気持ちを書いて、その後に理由等を付け足していけばいいと思います。
