⑶のbeing はどこにきますか？

このwereが動名詞beingになっていて、前置詞of の後ろに来ています
beingは「～だったこと」が当てはまると思います
The students complained of my exams being too difficult.
「生徒たちは私のテストがあまりも難しかったと不満を言った。」
