英語で合唱祭について紹介するのですが、この文章で直した方がいい所を教えてください。

毎年、10月に合唱祭があります。これは、面白いイベントのひとつです。私たちは休み時間や放課後に合唱練習をします。当日には、体育館に垂れ幕が飾られます。それらは素晴らしいです。たくさんの生徒は賞を得るために一生懸命練習します。今年は、マスクをしなければならいけど、いい思い出になることを願います。

内容はこんな感じです

Every year,we have a chorus festival in October.This is one of the interesting events.We practice chorus
during breaks or after school.On that day, banners are displayed in the gym.They are wonderful.Many students
practice hard to get the award.This year,we have to wear a mask when we sing,but I hope the festival will
be good memory.
