長文中の空所（10）に入れるのに最も適当な文を選択する問題です。答えはdなのですが、解説を読んでもなぜdになるのかあまりよく分かりませんでした。なぜdが正解でなぜ他の選択肢は間違いなのか教えていただきたいです。

Bだとreason that節のthat説に主語がないです。

別種のthatを読み解かなきゃな問題だと思いました。
