英文の解釈について質問です！
画像の一番最後の文は
”Trains will still run about every 8 minutes, but not after 2:00 pm.”
となっていて、私は
「列車は変わらずおよそ8分おきに発車するが、午後2時以降は運行しない予定だ。」
と解釈したのですが、解答では
「列車は以前と変わらず約8分間隔で運行するが、午後2時以降はそうではない。」
となっています。私の解釈が間違っている理由を教えて下さい🙇‍♀️

notの後ろに省略が見られますが、普通省略というのは、前に書いてあることがそのまま入るから省略するのです。

だからこの部分は
not（run about every 8 minutes）after 2:00 pm
と考えるべきだと思います

また、
書かれていなくても常識的に判断できるものは省略される
というのもありますが、

それまで8分間隔で走ってた電車が急に午後2時を境に1本も走らなくなる、というのは常識的には考えにくいので、省略をせずにきちんと説明するのではないかとおもいます。
