~過去進行形・There is 文〜
① 過去進行形 : <was/were+-ing> の形で「~していました」を表す。
例 People were looking at the tyrannosaurus.
人々はティラノサウルスを見ていました。
People were buying dinosaur T-shirts.
人々は恐竜のTシャツを買っていました。
People were taking pictures of dinosaurs.
人々は恐竜の写真を撮っていました。
There is 文: 「･･･に~があります(ありました)」を表す。
例 There are many good restaurants in Fukui.
福井には多くの良いレストランがあります。
There were many people in the museum.
博物館には多くの人々がいました。
There is a big park near the museum.
博物館の近くには大きな公園があります。

I went to Fukui with my family two weeks ago. This is a picture from a
dinosaur museum.
We arrived at the museum at 9:30. Many people

the museum. I found some fossils of animals and plants. It was a lot

ぼくは 2週間前に家族と福井に行きました。これは恐竜博物館の写真で
す。ぼくたちは9時半に博物館に到着しました。 多くの人々がティラノサウル
スを見ていました。 そのあと, ぼくたちは博物館の近くで化石探しをしてみま
した。ぼくは動物や植物の化石をいくつか見つけました。とっても楽しかっ
たです。
福井には多くの良いレストランがあります。 ぼくたちはお昼に越前ソバを食
べました。とってもおいしかったです。すばらしい時間を過ごしました。
