あんまりなるべく早く長文を読もうとか考えなくてもいいと思いますよ。

センター試験とかの話になりますけど、センターは長文がちょっと多くてまともに読むと、試験時間がなくなりました。
だから、長文を読むというより設問で聞かれている箇所を探すという感じの作業です。
とりあえず、問題文と同じ単語とか探してください。あとは、問題文の最後の問題がまとめになってたら、それを読んでください。
うちの県だと、英語の試験時間はリスニング合わせて50分なので、その時間内に長文を読むのはかなり難しいです。皆さん書いてますが、高3でも最低20分は確保したいです。
とける問題だけ解けばいいと思いますよ。

試験中に問題文を全文読んだことないですね。センターとかTOEICとかは特にそうです。
時間が空いてヒマなときに暇つぶしでは読みますけど。

僕(高3)が時間計って普通に読んだら、2:31でした。まあ、スマホの画面なので、動かさないといけなかったし、暗くて見えづらかったのはありますが、それでもまあ2:20くらいだと思います。
なので、速くて2分30秒くらいだと思いますが、どれだけ遅くても5~6分の間には読める方がいいと思います。

いったんバーーッと読んで行って，どんな問題が出るか予想して，
問題に入ったら、その部分を2周くらいして
合計で大問2個くらい長文があると思うから，
問題と合わせて15分〜18分くらいです！
