4行目のthick forest coverのそれぞれの品詞がわからないです。thick forestで深い森となると予想したのですが、coverはどういった働きをしているのでしょうか。教えていただけると嬉しいです...

coverもここでは名詞ですが、意味的には「覆う こと」というふうな感じで、本来は動詞で表されるようなことを名詞に転換しています。（抽象名詞）

いまここでは、[深い森が覆っている状態] とかっていうふうに言いたくて、
