文が「〜にいる/〜ある」となるか「〜です/〜ます」になるかではないでしょうか？
例えば①The girl is on the chairの日本語訳は「その女の子(その)椅子に座っています」と、「is」が「います」と存在を表現している「is」となっています。つまりbe動詞が「〜います」というような存在を表現する文を選べば問題を解けると思います！！
