丸３の答えがmoreだったのですが，なんでmoreなのですか？(manyやmuchじゃだめなのですか？)

more than〜 で、〜以上という意味の熟語となるからです。今回だとmore than three hoursで3時間以上という意味になります。

many thanとは言いません。
