whose也可以代替物。
這邊where或whose語意上都是通順的。
我覺得你不用太糾結，
作者大概有什麼很細微的點想表達；
可能對，也可能不對。
(台灣文法書有時候糾結的一些細節
在真實的英文中往往不是那樣)
至少，若我看不出來，那大概不太常見
若是考出來大概沒有幾個人知道。

這個題庫同樣類型的題目還有另外一提，都是第四題，兩句的結構與意思非常接近，只是第一大題的第四題選項有where跟whose,答案是選where，第二大題的第四題，選項裡面只有whose，而答案是whose，所以覺得矛盾
