overもbeyondも｢超える｣ことは同じですが、overはただ単に｢超えた｣という事実があれば良いのに対し、beyondはしっかりと超えているイメージがあります。
今回、視野が少しでも英語を超えていれば良いという訳ではないので、①の意味合いが近いのではないかと思いました。
