I think we can do two things to reduce the amount of food waste.
First, we can avoid buying too much food. When we go shopping, we buy things we don't really need. So we should decide what we want to buy before we go shopping.
Second, we can use leftover food. There are many recipes for using leftover food on the Internet. If we use the Internet and seeing it, we will no need to throw them away.
Therefore, we can reduse food waste by doing these things. I think it is important for each of us to be aware of reducing food waste and make efforts to reduce it.

文法・語法の面だけですが、以下のようにするとよいと思います。

このように現在形で表現すると、「私たちは（過去も今もこれからも）不必要なものを買う」と断定していることになります。
we often buy things we don’t really need. と often を入れることによって、（必ずというわけではないけれど、）「よく」無駄なものを買っているというニュアンスになります。

If we use the Internet and seeing it,
use ～ and see …　と動詞にしなければなりません。
it が指すものが何かわかりません。the Internet を指すと考えると
「インターネットを使ってインターネットを見ると」となり不自然ですし，
many receipes を受けるのであれば it ではなく them にしなくてはなりません。

we will no need to throw them away.
there will be no need to ～　とするか
we won’t need to ～　とすべきです。
また，この them が何を指しているか不明です。
food はそれまで単数（不可算名詞）として使っているので、ここでthemで受けるのは不可です。 throw food away としましょう。
