to educate their childrenかfor educating their childrenだと思います。beacuse of は〜のおかげ、〜のせいというニュアンスがあり、少し解釈が違ってくるように思われます。
education of childrenだと'子ども教育'と言うひとつのなってしまい、そこには彼らの子供為に、という意味がなくなってしまいます。'彼らの子供を教育する為にその家族はNZに引っ越した。'と言うと綺麗にまとまるかと思います!

なのですがこのbecause ofの位置が前に来る時と、文の途中で入る時の違いがわからないです（т-т）
