おそらくsawではないでしょうか。
seemの場合通常to不定詞かthat節を使います。で残ったare seeing とsawですが、今回言いたいのは文脈から考えて、疲れているように見えるというふうな知覚動詞としてのseeです。知覚動詞のseeは進行形を使えないので、残ったsawが入ります。
でsawにすれば「この頃疲れてるように見えたよ」というふうに文脈的にも合います
