itは指示代名詞の働きをして目的語になっていると思います。takeを指してるのでは？間違ってたらごめん🙇。issuesと複数形になっているし、politic は形容詞ですので、issues以外に修飾するものも見当たらないから政治問題と社会問題でしょう😙
