只有 another/others
the other / the others 這四種
簡單來說
another 是另外一個
others 是另外一些
the other 是另外僅存的那一個
the others 是另外僅存的那一些
前兩個說的"另外"不見得是另外的全部
後兩個的"另外"就真的是另外的全部東西
也就是除了原本以外的所有東西
比如說有一袋10個蘋果
我拿了2個蘋果
另外一個人拿了3個
我就可以說I took some apples and he took others
如果另外一個人拿了剩餘所有的8顆
那我就要改說He took the others
而如果我要講仔細一點
the others 可以改成the other apples
