英文法についての質問です

The latest computers are （）well now.
という文の（）に入る語を4つの中から選ぶという問題で、答えがsellingなんですがsoldではダメなんでしょうか？？

be動詞+動詞のing形で表すと、
今〇〇しているという文がつくれます

確かにそうなりますがsoldでは間違いなのはなぜなんでしょうか？？

be動詞+過去分詞で受動態になりますが、この問題の場合は文末に『now』があるので進行形の受動態にする必要があります。
進行形の受動態はbe動詞+being+過去分詞になるのでこの問題だとかっこが足りないと思います。

Well is an adverb. It modifies sell.
Now is also an adverb as it describes when or how something is done.

The verb needs to be agree with both adverbs.

The latest computers are now sold at a store near you is okay but when we put well, we are talking actively and be sold is the passive voice.
