I think that it is necessary for people to go to important historical
sites in order to understand history better. I have two reasons.
First, if I go to important historical sites, Staff of historical sites
will talk about history. hearing about history is eaiser understand
than reading textbook about history.
Second, it is good experience for us to go to important was
historical sites. Because I can see tools and wepons was
used to catch animals and to collect foods by early people.
That's why, I belive that people go to important historical sites to
understand history better.

→「歴史的な場所」というのが原始時代などとは限定されていないため、少し不安かも...
「私たちが歴史的な場所へ実際に訪れることで、その土地の人々の生活や風土を知ることができ、より深く歴史を理解できる」などとした方がいいかもしれません。
