私が書いた答えは there is notと、書いたんですが、解答はthere is noでした。
私の答えは間違ってますか?

解答

There aren't any rainy seasons in Hokkaido.
If you write this way then you need to use any and seasons are countable.

This would be understood but
There is no rainy season in Hokkaido. Is more natural for native English speakers.

May I ask you a question?

Can we count the "rainy season "?

Ishigreen2

Not if you say (the) rainy season as it implies only one in a year but yes you can say that Tucson has two rainy seasons. One in the summer and one in the winter. Usually we don't count rainy seasons though.

Your explaining is so good.
So, "no rainy season " is better than " not any seasons "?

Ishigreen2

Yes especially if you want to sound natural but we can understand you if you say the other way

I see.
Thank you hot teaching me!

Ishigreen2

You are very welcome.
