recruitは動詞として「新規に採用する」みたいな意味もあるんですが、名詞で「新入社員・新規採用された人」っていう使い方があるんですよ。

assign「割り当てる」の語法として
O1にO2を割り当てる
assign O1 O2
assign O2 to O1
これが頭にあると空欄には不定詞（動詞の原形）ではなくて名詞が入ると判断できて
