関係代名詞の非制限用法ですね。

まあ、何故かというと、カンマ(,)がなかったら、
〜な・・・　以外の・・・があるんじゃないかっていうふうにネイティブに思われるのです。
でも、普通の文法事項ですから、こんなあらすじを知る必要はないです。
文法事項として覚えちゃってください。

ここでは、カンマをつけないと
「私が8才の時の2005年」以外の2005年があることになるんです。
