為什麼helping是用ving??

✏e.g., Mom stopped me from playing the video game since I didn’t finish my homework.
📚 stop + Ving [停止做(某件事)]
✏e.g., You had better stop smoking. It’s bad for your health.
📚 stop to + V [停下來，要去做(某件事)
