請問whether 子句當主詞,主詞補語或介系詞的受詞時為什麼不可以用if代替？還是可以給個例句嗎？謝謝！

if不能當主詞是因為他會和副詞子句混淆
副詞子句：If you get a good score at this exam, I will give you a big present. (If表示如果是副詞子句中的條件類需要現在式代替未來式）
名詞子句：Let me know if you will stay.(If表示是否）
當介系詞和主詞補語時就直接背吧沒有為什麼
例句：l am worried about if Summer can pass that exam(or not).
