這題可以這樣想嗎？
因為這句I did not have a mirror then , but if I had had a mirror, I would have lent it to you.（與過去事實相反之假設）
可以改成I did not have a mirror then,but if I had , I would lent it to you
所以I do not have a mirror , but if I had a mirror, I would lent it to you.（與現在事實相反之假設）
把 had a mirror省略變成 I do not have a mirror, but if I did , I would lent it to you.
