1：down會變成丟"進"海裡，但這邊比較接近丟"往"海的方向，所以才會去追，因此要用toward

4：over是橫跨的意思，如果後面加時間，強調的是在這段時間內都在做某個動作。但本題強調的是，在幾秒鐘"內"，形容時間很短，並非強調這段時間內都在做那個動作，所以用within較佳
5：be forced to被迫，be buried意思是被埋住，被破壞be destroyed後面不會接to
8：hungry for success意思是"渴望成功"，for後面通常加目的或希望達到的事物，所以適合放在這邊。in在於，from從，through透過
9：make one's way to地方，意思是終於去到某個地方。為固定用法，需要稍微記一下
