mostはつけません

mostを付けるのは、er，estが付けることが出来ない単語が来た時です。

(例)これは1番難しい。
This is the most difficult.

これは1番大切だ。
This is the most important.

most＝長い単語につける

と覚えたら簡単だと思います！

また、most longではダメです。
the をつけないといけません

長い語の最上級には-estではなくmostを使います。その例が下の文ですね。The most longestだと、mostもlongestも最上級なのでかぶってしまいます。
