長文の解き方教えてください!

The start of his career as a professional basketball player, however, was not as easy as most people would imagine. 英語長文というのは、現代文などの日本語の文章に比べてパラグラフごとの内容がはっきりしているという特徴があります。なのでまずはパラグラフリーディングを心がけてみてください。
次に、問題を先に読むのも効果的です。今回の問題は少し特殊なので、先に読むのはあまりおすすめしませんがセンター試験などは確実に先に読んで、探しやすくするべきです。
最後に、早稲田大学レベルだと内容がかなり難しかったりして基礎力だけではきついところもありますが、MARCH以下だったら本当は基礎(文法、解釈)がしっかり出来ていれば難なくよめるものばかりです。なのに読めない、という方は基礎力の見直しこそが近道だと思います。単語も重要ですが、ターゲット1800が全て入っているのに読めないのは基礎力不足にあると思って間違いないと思います。演習力不足じゃないのかな、?と思う人もいると思いますが、1日1長文読んでるのに出来ないなら基礎が抜けていると考えるといいと思います。
